Hello, sorry about the lateness of this post, but we had some computer problems. We are up and running now.
Ok, we got to sleep in today, which was nice for a change. So we hung around the cabin for a while. After a wile we started cooking breakfast; we ended up eating pancakes. After cleaning the kitchen we put together our lunches for the day.
We went out to Cades Cove during the afternoon, where we saw a lot of things. We saw two log cabins, which where kind of neat. After that we went to the visitor center and saw and old mill, where they were grinding up wheat into fresh flour. Also at the visitors center we went around the gift shop looking at various souvenirs.
After our escapade to Cades cove we made our way back to the theater. Where we did a variety of jobs. We where building all sorts of things, from carts to adding greenery to the set. People where also helping with various other jobs. On a side note the director called Mr. Clark a student, which was fairly entertaining. He was also innocently fixing a toilet paper holder when the girls decided to turn on the shower while he was in there… he got mad.
We finished our work at the theater, and went back to the cabins for dinner. We had spaghetti and garlic bread for dinner. We all washed up and some of us threw in a load of laundry to help us get through the rest of the week.
Today seemed a lot longer than the other days, I think because we did more things. But overall today went well.
